Yes, I beleive that's a feature on HP mobile devices. I hadn't thought about that option.

You are probably going to need to create a script of somesort that you can run when you plug in your ethernet cable. Since a computer can be connected to multiple networks via multiple interfaces at the same time, there is nothing built-in to the OS
to automatically disconnect you from an existing connection when a new connection on a different interface is initialized.
