Hi MulkMan,Hehe this is not an easy problem to solve. But lets give it a shot...I see you are running windows 7 RC 1. And the application trows a exception code: 0xc0000005.Witch means STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION see the following article for more informationhttp://www.updatexp.com/0xC0000005.htmlSo actions that you can do to resolve this issue. - Update your graphics card driver (or rollback to an old version if no newer version is aviable) - Remove your antivirus software - Check if your memory is faulty (are there other programs that behave strangly? are there other related errors in your eventviewer?)Keep me updated if one of those options fix your problem.Kind RegardsDFT

Hi,Scanned RAM with memtest no errors found. I only get this error when It trys to save display calibrate settings.Currently have Vista and Win7 in dual boot mode. Vista seems to be working ok, no errors. Also installed latest Nvidia Geforce drivers still no luckCurrently using ESET Smart Security tryed force closing the antivirus. Still getthe same as that in screenshothttp://img21.imageshack.us/img21/2515/dcc.jpgFunny when I first installed Windows 7 Clean display calibration was saving fine. I may have used something like Auslogics Registry Cleaner and deleted an important registry value? :)KIND REGARDS

Hi,Mulkman did you ever worked with process monitor?http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspxThis can give you an insight if DCCW.exe seeks a tries to write to an registry key. Or if he has an access denied on writing a reg key or file.Capture the moment when you save your profile and see if there stands something like access denied of NAME not found. And a second thing you can do is watch if there is no option in auslogics registrycleanerto restore the delete registery keys.GreetsDFT

Hi,I have just ran Process Monitor, filtered the process name to DCCW.exeToo much information for a screenshot so I uploaded the LogFileHere: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=4c94856a614f5f158ef1259ff1b60e81e04e75f6e8ebb871As you can see from the LOG I receive the error at 21:16. Thats when I clicked Next at ADJUST COLOUR BALANCE in DCCW.exe Yes tried restoring backups from auslogics but no luckKIND REGARDSMulkman

Hard problem :pCan you create a user dump file and upload it some where? You download the source for userdump.Exe on http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E089CA41-6A87-40C8-BF69-28AC08570B7E&displaylang=en Run the Setup.exe program for your processor. Notes By default, this Setup.exe program is included with the Userdump.exe tool in the C:\kktools\userdump8.0 folder. This Setup.exe program installs a kernel-mode driver, installs the Userdump.sys file, and creates the Process Dump icon in Control Panel. Unless you have a specific need, disable the "dump on process termination" feature when you run the Setup.exe program. In Control Panel, double-click Process Dump. On the Exception Monitoring tab, click New, add the appropriate program name to the Monitor list, and then click OK. For example, add a program name such as Lsass.exe, Winlogon.exe, Mtx.exe, or Dllhost.exe. In the Monitor box, click the program name that you added in step 3, and then click Rules. Click to select Custom Rules, select the type of error that you want to trigger for the program that you added in step 3 in the Custom rules list, select the Access violation (c0000005) error type and then click OK.Source: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/241215/Kind RegardsDFT
