Does Offline files work in Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit Edition
Hi All Trying to set up offline files for one of my users. She has a Lenovo Thinkpad x220, running 64 bit Windows 7. I've tried enabling them through control panel and then restarting, no joy. I did the regedit, no joy. I disabled Fast User Switching in the local group policy, no joy. When I click enable offline files button and restart the machine, its the same as it was before I restarted and offline files aren't enabled. Does offline files actually work in Windows 7 64 bit? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million

Hi, I would like to verify if the computer is in domain. Have you right clicked the files and selected Always available offline? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Working-with-network-files-when-you-are-offline I suggest checking Offline Files service and clearing temporary files. 1. Click Start, type services in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. 2. In the right pane, double-click Offline Files. 3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, click Apply, click Start, and then click OK. 4. Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Sync Center 5. Click "Manage Offline Files", Click "View your offline files", Clear all contents. 6. Click the "Disk Usage" tab, click “Delete temporary files”. Niki Han TechNet Community Support
