Dreamscene is killing me!
Hi all,
When I choose a windows update DS as desktop background it goes black, I lose all iconsand flicks green polygons occasionally. there is no crash as I can change back to normal pic ok, but if left like that will cause Explorer to stop working.
I have installed Vista codec pack (Sharks) and x64 components and set MPEG1 and MPEG2 to libmpeg2 codec, I have also tried KLite codec pack- same result (as well as a few standalone mpeg decoders, nero, powerDVD, GOM player)
When I check the properties of display card it says: "This device is working properly.Windows did not start a related device driver. To learn more, click the Driver tab and then click Driver Details."
Also when I play a video in PowerDVD it says: "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"I have driver version: 7.15.11.7824 installed for my NVidia GeForce 9600GTthe components that dont seem to have loaded are:c:\Windows\system32\drivers\ATKDispLowFilter.sysc:\Windows\system32\nvcpl.cplc:\Windows\system32\nvcplui.exe
PLS HELP! I have spent hours trying to find a fix for this to no avail.
