Dual Screen switch Lag
Hi, I have an issue when trying to switch from dual to single screen mode. When i switch the screen selection option in the Screen Resolution Window and press Apply, both screen turn black and the computer freeze/lag for about 5 minutes and return to the previous screen mode (Dual Screen). Same thing happen when i start a full screen application, big lag and i can't use it properly. I tried to restart my computer but i just don't know what else to do. I'm running Windows 7 Professionnal, NVidia 8800GT, 2x Samsung SyncMaster 2253bw Thanks

Hi Cerunnos, I find that Samsung provides the SyncMaster 2253bw driver for Windows 98/ME/2K/X64/Vista from the following link. But I cannot find the monitor driver for Windows 7. http://www.samsung.com/sg/support/download/supportDown.do?type=monitor&type_cd=05020000&subtype=LCD+Monitor&subtype_cd=lcd-monitor&model_nm=2253BW&mType=DR&vType=L&prd_ia_cd=05020100&disp_nm=2253BW Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Based on the current situation, I would like to suggest you run Windows Update to check if there is a monitor driver for Windows 7. In addition, I also would like to suggest you update the BIOS to improve the system stability. Regards, Arthur Li - MSFT

Hi, The problem is still there but only from time to time. Someday i can't touch my screen setting or play games without having to restart my computer because it freeze. And some other days it just run perfectly without a single problem. I tryed everything in your answer but the BIOS thing i don't know how to do. I'm really tired of this problem. Thank you for your time.
