E-Mail size restriction of 50MB
I have sent an e-mail with an attachment that is about 38,469,628 bytes big. When I click on send there is a pause of about 1 minute and then this message appears:"The size of the message you are trying to send exceeds the global size limit (52428800 bytes) of the server. The message was not sent; reduce the message size and try again."Whose server? My ISP provider says they aren't the problem. It must be somewhere else. How do I get around this problem?Thomas1 person needs an answerI do too

What is after the @ in your address? When you send an attachment, the size is increased by about 33% due to encoding. Many servers have a 10MB limit. Quite a few have a 25MB limit. 50MB is allowed by a few, but you exceeded that. What contents do the attachment contain? If pictures for example, you can easily reduce the size.50MB is a very large e-mail to be sending.Bruce HagenMS-MVP Oct. 1, 2004 ~ Sept. 30, 2010Imperial Beach, CA
