We're looking to enable folder redirection with the option of "copy contents to new location" in our environment. We would like to have controlled this process manually, but it seems that if this setting is not enabled you get duplicate folders in your personal folder for the local and redirected folder. Anyway... our concern is what would happen if a user with multiple computers (some Windows XP) log into their old locally stored profiles after the policy is applied. From our limited testing it appears that it's not a full rewrite or erase of data and checks are made for the modified date to ensure that old data is not overwriting what's new on the fileserver. I've been unable to find reliable and thorough documentation on how this functions. If anyone can provide some, or speak of their own experience it would help a lot. Thanks
