I have uninstalled Defender-Pro anti-virus suite using the uninstall that came with it and a bit defender removal tool the tech's there supplied. I have removed it from the registry and anywhere else it could be. Defender-Pro cannot be found on my computer, yet windows security center says Defender-Pro has a firewall and an anti-virus that is up to date and running. I need this gone to install new anti-virus. Any help appreciated.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi SelwinBaltic, · Do you have any other security software installed on your computer?· Is the security software listed in Add/remove program? Put in the anti-virus software disk and run the setup file, if any files related to the security software are still installed on the computer then it would prompt for repair or uninstall. If the files are not installed, then try installing the software again. Once installed, you may uninstall and check the results.
