Elilminating a partition on the hard drive
I've recently taken responsibilty of managing someone else's computer. It turns out that this computer has one drive that is partitioned; C dirve 50 gig and D: drive 150 gig. without going into too much detail, I'm having performance issues because many programs by default look to download, install, cache etc. to the C dirve. At this point there is no space left on the C drive but the D is wide open. Virtual memory is suffering becasue it's set on C. I've tried using fsutil to remove the volume but it says that I dont have right's but I have administraitrs rights. Can someone tell me how to solve my prolem by either eliminating the D drive or changing my settings so my operating system is smart enough to use both drives without descrimination.1 person needs an answerI do too
