Emails totally undelivered after Forefront change

For nearly six years, we've used the MS Forefront solution for controlling spam and viruses.  Though originally sold by Sprint, I think that MS was coming back to it as our login changed from Sprint to Microsoft.  

Anyway, as the product is now EOL, we moved from the hosted Forefront to McAfee.  Typically a change in the MX record is all that's required, or so we thought.  Now it seems that mail just keeps going to bigfish.com and nowhere else.  I've checked by DNS records on several servers outside of network (Level3, Google, etc) and what I've found is that the mail that is not coming to us are from customers/vendors who also, at one time or another, had MS Forefront or now on Office 365.

Does anyone know if somehow Forefront just keeps these records in either their DNS or some other server and not refresh it?  Anyone I can possibly call?  It's turning into a major issue.

are you talking about FOPE? If so you should contact FOPE support to fix this issue.

I tried FOPE support but it went unanswered.  Finally got support with MS via Sprint (who was the original FOPE reseller in my case) and removed all traces fo the domains in question.  Too early to tell but this should make things right.  A stressful few days now behind me! :)
