Encrypting files for multiple users
I'm trying to encrypt a file so that multiple users can open it. The file is on a Windows 2003 server and the workstations are XP. They're all on AD. I logged into the file server with a domain admin account and encrypted the file. That account can open the file no problem. I then exported my personal certificate from my workstation, with my own user account, copied the certificate to the server and imported it into the "other people" section. I then gave that account access to decrypt the file, and it's now listed in the "users who can transparently access this file" box. NTFS permissions are also set correctly. My account has modify. However, when I try to access the file with my account, I get "access denied". No errors are recorded in the event log. Can anyone tell me what's going wrong here please?3 people need an answerI do too

I haven't been able to get multiple users to access the file before. This is the first time I've attempted it. Getting a single user to encrypt and access the file works fine.
