EndPoint Virus Definitions

I have worked with several virus\malware applications over the years in an enterprise company. When a new threat is out you usually see an update to the client desktop within hours depending on the threat and the applications being used to
protect your environment.

I have been searching all over for information on MS EndPoint Protection.  I want to know how one finds out what threats are being address in newly released pattern files.  I know Trend Micro does this, and various other protection suites.  Is there a centralized area\place where the information is available for the administrator of the application.  I would really like to be able to tell my manager "Yes, we are protected from that threat" because........

Can anyone point me in the right direct?

Thank you,

Hi,

I haven't found such a place. But you could search threats in Malware Protection Center. If the threat doesn't exist, submit the threat file to the Microsoft.
