Hi,Do you run Mcafee Security software by any chance on the machine? This warning message usually comes if there is any security software installed on the machine and running at that time. As per the design of the security software, it will try to prevent any changes being made in the way the computer and its services/applications run.I would suggest you to temporarily uninstall the security software from the machine and check if the issue re-appears.How to change or remove a program in Windows XPNote:Please reinstall the security software after checking. You may have to contact the security software vendor for further assistance.Hope the information helps. Please post back and let us know.RegardsDebleena SMicrosoft Answers Support EngineerVisit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
