Error:0x80280008
I continue to be told Ined to download Windows Live Essentials 2011, every DAY yet I can't I have Windows Vista and have done Disk Cleanup, checked all it states yet it tells me "If you want to install this version, first uninstall the version that is installed on your computer." Error: 0x80280008 Source: WaitForCatalog. Now am supposed to do this? If so why are there no directions for this procedure? I have many problems with this system, Internet Explorer close down errors, keyboard rarely types the correct letters (misses letters continuously) programs, web pages unbelievably slow,so many errors have been sent with no replies as to what is going on. This computer was bought just last year. I have tried 3 different keyboards. Plee, see wht I mean, this is the wa it produces letters orwill not space. I am frustrated and would truly appreciate someassistance with these problems. Hi pstranahan, - Do you use a laptop or a desktop computer? If you are using a laptop, try disabling the touchpad feature and check if you can type without any issues. Method 1: For all the other issues, place your computer in Clean boot state to know the application causing this issue. Putting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.
