Error 0x80070017
I get this error whenever my system is trying to extract the Windows files. While extracting it gets stuck at 70%. I've been attempting to dual boot Windows 7 and 8 (Standard edition) by various ways and finally got one way to work. Problem is that after
I've finally got the installation process started now it wont finish. If anyone has a work around on using an installation disk like maybe a download from Microsoft themselves. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

This error appeares in case od bad media.

You should also check if your HDD is fine. Run a HDD diag tool from your manufacture and open the recovery options of the Windows DVD and run chkdsk to check for NTFS file system issues
