Error 1706
From my Control Panel "Add or remove programs" I removed Ancestry.com's "World Archives Keying Tool" I started getting an "Error 1706 No valid source could be found for product Document Viewer" and it will not allow me to turn off my computer unless I hold down the On/Off switch on my computer. After I turn off my computer and and turn it back on, the "Please wait while Windows configures Document Viewer" and then the "Document Viewer Error 1706" message appears and I cannot cancel or close them. I tried to "restore" to point of before I removed Ancestry.com's "World Archives Keying Tool" but it could not restore to that point. I also tried some of the recommendations to perform "clean boot" and download Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. My computer would not allow me to do either of those things because of the "Document View" message and configuring messages. Please help me to fix this annoying problem.1 person got this answerI do too
