Error 651 loss of connection wjhen usinf Sierra Wireless 250 USB from Sprint
Error 651 loss of connection We are Panasonic CF31 toughbook laptop for police cruiser mobile data terminal with MS Win 7 OS SP1. We connect to the internet and the local VPN via Sprint Sierra Wireless Model 250 u USB 3G/4G modem. After about 15-30 minutes of connectivity, the Sprint SmartView displays "Error 651" and disconnects the modem and ends internet session.Sprint suggests we swap the MS Vista raspppoe.sys work in place of the MS Win 7 raspppoe.sys? We are using VIPRE Internet Security 2012, version 5.0.5134.

You may install the Connection Software. Install the Connection Software - Windows 7 - Sprint 3G/4G USB Modem 250U by Sierra Wireless http://support.sprint.com/support/tutorial/Install_the_Connection_Software_Windows_7_Sprint_3G4G_USB_Modem_250U_by_Sierra_Wireless/18924-50 If it does not help, troubleshoot in Clean Boot mode. How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 However if the issue persists in Clean Boot Mode, I suggest you check hardware issues.
