Error Message upon boot up/log on - DirectAccess Connectivity Assistant is not working as expected

I get that message upon logon to the system.  The full message of the error box is

The DirectAccess Connectivity Assistant service is not running.  Restart the service, or contact the site administrator.

BUT...it is running.  It is like the DCA isn't waiting long enough.  If I click OK, and then go check DCA it is connected fine and I have access to network resources.

Is something not right and this is just a sympton?

Confused...

I've seen this before. It happened for me when the Connectivity Assistant was installed but not configured. Have you configured the Group Policy with the settings the Connectivity Assistant needs?
