Error code 554 Number 0x800CCC6f Insightbb.com when sending email
An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'mail.insightbb.com', Server: 'mail.insightbb.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 mail.insightbb.com', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC6FHow do I fix this? I can receive email, however I cannot send email. Would it have anything to do with having both Outlook and Outlook Express on my laptop? I was using Express, but wanted to switch to Outlook. I made Outlook my default and have had this error popping up ever since. I have checked my settings but they look ok. Any ideas? Thanks.2 people need an answerI do too

Double-check the outgoing settings - make sure you don't need to have SSL turned on and/or use port 465 instead of port 25. Or port 587. That's another common SMTP port. The OP should also make sure she is authenticating to the outgoing server.Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
