Error code Ox800ccc92, (IP REJECTS PASS WORD)
(IP REJECTS PASS WORD) Using XP Home and Outlook Express 6x-my IP rejectes passwords on 3 out of 4 email accounts I use, including the new 4thIset up a 3 days ago. Phone call to IP-checked on their end -user info and passwords were correct on original three-they set of 4th for me-only one originalpass word works on 6x the rest fail every time. I have reset all in properties 2-3 times but still fail. All work on their (IP's email site0 but fail every time using 6x.Scaned for MS updates and registry errors found some - clicked-fix-completed. Since XP home will be unsupported next year or so, will upgading to Windows 7 correct this problem creating a new ourlook express registry?Need help to resolve.4 people need an answerI do too

Have you checked that you can login via web access to these accounts?Do you have anti virus integrated with Express?And if so if you uninstall your AV and reboot is the problem still there?http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/community/columns/oerepair.mspx(Win7 has no built in maill apllication, OE wont run on Win7, MS reccommends Windows Live Mail)

I have a similar problem and it's driving me spare! I'm still able to send emails but not receive them and yes, I can login via web access to my account and on my iPhone. I called the ISP and they couldn't work it out since it all works OK on web & iPhone.I don't know why it suddenly stopped working...I received my last email early this morning at 1:10am and then shut down laptop for the night. Since this morning I now get this popup box titled "Internet Email - pop.bigair.com.au" which has the server field already completed (and can't be edited) and User Name and Password also completed which can be edited and are definitely correct! But the popup box only comes up once it finishes sending emails! If you click OK, the popup box just keeps re-appearing and if you click Cancel, then the following error message appears:"There was a problem logging into your mail server. Your User Name or Password was rejected. Server response: '-ERR [AUTH] Invalid login'. (Account: 'blah', POP3 Server: 'blah', Error number: 0x800ccc92)."So what I've tried:- re-starting Outlook- re-starting Windows- re-starting PC- changing Incoming server to 'mail.bigair.com.au', as suggested by ISP - setting up another account with same details and use as default, as suggested by ISP None of these have worked. This is frustrating to say the least! Nothing has changed on my laptop since last night, so I'm loathe to understand why this error has suddenly occurred!?!Can anyone help please?

Start outlook using the safe switch, see if the problem is replicatedStartRunOutlook.exe /safe(note space between exe /)

Hi, this is the first time I have been on here, so I do apologise. I am hoping if you get an answer, because I have posted on here, I might be notified. I have posted a question, so if I get a reply that fixes it I will post back on here. But I am having the exact same problem with yahoo. One of my e mails works but the other doesn't. It worked fine one day, then the next day it stopped. It is just in the receiving, it wont log onto incoming server. I too get the pop up box continually with the e mail unable to be edited. Pressing ok doesn't work, you have to hit cancel then I get the exact same message as you. My Aunt is also having the same problem. This has only just started happening last Month May 2010, I notice your problem was 6 mths ago. Did you it get fixed yet?
