Hi,
May I know the following:
1. Where the shared resources are located, on your local network or the remote network?
2. The Operating System of the shared resources’ hosts.
At this time, please try the following:
1. Check if you can ping the host of the shared resources when the VPN connection is established.
2. Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on the VPN client.
If you are using the Windows VPN client, please try:
1) Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”.
2) Right-click the dial-up connection and click Properties.
3) Switch to the Networking tab, click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
4) Click Advanced, switch to the WINS tab, select “Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP” and click OK three times to apply the setting.
Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT

1. Resources are located on domain-based network.
2. W2k3
3. Switching "NetBIOS over TCP/IP", configuring windows firewall for enable all inbound/outbound traffic and disabling "ipv6" have no results
After VPN connection are estableshed, i can ping server.
PS: I have no problem with XP and Vista..

Hi,
Thank you for your update.
Please see if you can access the share folder with “\\computer name\folder”
At this time, please also try the following:
1. Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”.
2. Right-click the VPN connection and click Properties.
3. Switch to the Networking tab, click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
4. Click Advanced, if the “Use default gateway on remote network” option is checked, please uncheck it and then click OK; or vice versa.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
