I am having an issue with a Tablet concerning the mobile data connection. The tablet in question is an HP Elitepad 900 (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/ad/elitepad/overview.html). I have place a SIM card inside for the mobile data.

My Issue is that when i connect the Elitepad into the docking station, which has a Ethernet port. I want the tablet to use the LAN connection instead of the mobile data connection.

I have set the priority as Ethernet as the highest in the Advance Settings of Adapters and Bindings Options. I also changed the metric of the Ethernet Adapter to 1, WiFi to 2 and Mobile data to 3. What has to be done is that the user has to manually disconnect the mobile data connection so that the Ethernet one takes over. Ideally i would like it to swap to the Ethernet connection as soon as the tablet is docked on the docking station.

I am currently clueless and would be extremely grateful if someone has a solution to this.
