Event ID: 45 & 49 - Ftdisk Error
How can i fix these errors? It's got 3GB RAM,260GB free space and XP SP3. I have tried the recommended settings but it doesn't seem to be accepting it. Also tried "System managed size" but i still keep getting the error. Help1 person needs an answerI do too

HelpLeave the page file size set to "system managed."Defragment the disk (Start > All Programs > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter). If you get a message about needing to run chkdsk to correct errors, do so:Start > Run > Chkdsk /f > click OK When the following message pops up, type Y and press EnterThe type of the file system is NTFS.Cannot lock current drive.Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use byprocess. Would you like to schedule this volume tchecked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N) Reboot the computer Then try defragmenting your page file with PageDefrag from Sysinternals. This may solve the problem; it won't hurt anything to try.
