For starters my anti virus trend micro titanium i noticed was not working so when i tryed to open i get a message saying this application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. please see the application event log or use the command-linesxstrace.exe tool for more detail,i then rebooted tryed again then tryed to uninstall trend micro and reinstall but it would not reinstall so i done a system restore allthough this did not fix the problem, so i checked the event log viewer in control panel and it has a error saying MMC could not create the snap in might not have been installed correctly CLSID:FX:{b05566ad-fe9c-4363-be05-7a4cbb7cb510} any help would be great

Visit the Trend Micro support page for your market. here is US: http://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us/consumer/default.aspx Find the latest version that your subscription is for and download it. Then read the instartctions for the uninstaller and download the uninstaller and run it and then reboot. The re-install with the recent version compatible with the version of Windows that you are using that was downloaded. It's really a Trend Micro product issue. Don't waste your time debugging stuff. Also, be sure that you have uninstalled any other security software. Running multiple security applications can cause conflicts. (Those with real-time monitoring especially) Did it clear it up?
