Excellent signal, but can't connect to wireless network
XP Pro Client has been connected to the domain by network cable, but now we need to connect by wireless. Installed TrendNet USB Wireless N adapter, no problems. The light is on the adapter, and the network is visible with a strong signal. When I try to connect, I get the message that it can't connect, and the network may be out of range. Sometimes I get a balloon stating that one or more wireless networks have been detected, but when I then try to connect, I get the same message. The PC is about 10 feet beneath the access point, with only a countertop in between. I've unistalled, reinstalled, tried to update the driver, etc. Any help would be appreciated.1 person needs an answerI do too
