// An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback.

#define STATUS_FATAL_USER_CALLBACK_EXCEPTION ((NTSTATUS)0xC000041D L)
This message happens when files of the Windows Explorer are damaged.
Please start the command prompt (cmd.exe) with admin rights [1] and run sfc [2]:
sfc.exe /scannow
Is it able to find and repair broken files? Is the Explorer now working again?
best regards
André

I'm having the same issue and ran sfc.exe /scannow but that did not fix the problem.
I had to run sfc.exe in Safe Mode with Command prompt because I have NO ability to run any explorer.exe features within Windows 7... it just crashes explorer.exe immediatly upon trying to click the Start button, My Computer, etc.
I'm at my wits end at this point. I woke up this morning, turned on my monitor and my computer says that it failed to restart and it was going to try and repair it... repair didn't work, system restore didn't work.
Any ideas? Keep in mind I can't do any operations (besides task manager) without going into Safe Mode with Command prompt. Regular Safe Mode doesn't allow for any mouse input at all. Computer was working just dandy last night??
Thanks.

Hi,
please download this reg file from my SkyDrive:
http://cid-128fc518635be2dc.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/MS%20Foren/Registry/WER%5E_Explorer.reg
and make a double click on the file to import it. If you can't do this, run regedit.exe and import the registry file there!
When the Windows Explorer crashes, Windows Error Reporting Service [1] creates a dmp file under C:\Localdumps. Please upload the file to your public Skydrive [2] folder and post the link here. I take a look at the dump with the Debugger.
