Explorer EXE application error 0X0150002
Explorer EXE error shows up on my screensaver with nothing else visable. No short-cuts, toolbar, Start, no settings at all. I have even tried to reinstall XP pro. again and it freezes when it get to wheather I will accept the agreement or not. It will not reconize system recovery floppy disk that I downloaded from our other computer. I have rebooted from the CD drive with system disks. Help! What can I do to fix this?1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Dianel, Since when are you facing this issue?Did you make any changes to the computer before this issue started? You may try to boot the computer in safe mode and check if the issue persists and if you recive the same error message.To boot the computer in safe mode, restart both the computers and keep tapping F8 key. Once you see the option to select safe mode, select it and press enter. If it works fine in safe mode, you may put the computer in a clean boot state and check if any third party applications or startup items are causing this issue. Access the link below and follow the steps to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows XP.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353 If your issue is resolved after performing Clean Boot, then follow the steps mentioned in the following KB article to narrow down the exact source. Also, see the section on how return your computer to a Normal startup mode by following the steps under “Reset the computer to start as usual” and set it to Normal Startup. Hope this helps.
