If someone wants to move from FIM to MIM.

What is the process? 

Is there any official article from MS?

1. Timelines: Moving somebody from FIM to MIM

3. How long will this transition take

Hello,

since there are not much changes on the core Features beside Support of new OS, upgrading from FIM to MIM will be like the Upgrades before.

Simple install MIM re-using the FIM databases.
After that rest of Migration depends on additional components you use like custom activities, Powershell, MAs and so on.
