FORMATING AND NAMING PARTITIONED VOLUMES
I partitioned a 500GB removable drive to four-100GB and one 63GB volumes with Acronis. I did not assign a system type to the volumes and left them unformatted as I thought window 7 64bit would not back up into a NTFS (?) I thought I could format the drives later through disk manager but I can only right click on the disk6 to see- convert to dynamic disc, properties and help. There are no avenues available in disc manager to name the volumes and format them. When I right click on the volume to format, the only option available is to delete the volume. What do you suggest? Thank you.

Hi, · I think you could try to finish this work by using Acronis, since you use it to create the four partitions, and it can create, convert, copy, format and move volumes, too. · But if the issue still exists when you use Acronis , I suggest you could contact Acronis directly. Due to it may be caused by the operation of Acronis.
