Hey guys. My machine was running the beta rel7000 just fine with Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. After installing the RC 7100 build, I installed Kaspersky, then my wireless drivers. The drivers seem to have caused intermittent loss of internet connection, but this was compounded by Kaspersky going a little nuts, and elevating the SVCHost process to a high threat status. I had the following issues... Could not activate ICS (it had a null error) Could not run the updater Live Messenger was causing constant warning dialogs This was a clean install with just the default drivers and my Wifi driver. I tried resetting the filtering rules in Kas, and going into interactive mode, but this proved to be a huge pain, as it was throwing up exceptions for process's left right and center. Deactivating the firewall wasn't enough to correct these issues, but completely exiting Kaspersky allowed me to run the updater, though ICS was still broken. Eventually, I did a complete format/reinstall, and this time I installed Kaspersky Anti Virus 2009. All of the above was rectified, and the drivers provided for my Linksys WAG54GS now provide a reliable connection.
