Failure to renew IP address using repair connections
When trying to connect to the internet using an automatic wireless (and also manual connection) my laptop fails to connect to the internet because the IP address cannot be renewed. I am wondering whether the driver (Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter) is out of date and needs upgrading but not sure how I can go about doing this as I have tried and been unsuccessful in updating it using the device manager.I tried using a different internet connection in another building and the internet connected straight away. Then when I brought the laptop back into my office the internet connection automatically changed to the one I wanted to use in the first place.Any help would be greatly appreciated,Jenni1 person needs an answerI do too

So...it DOES connect on a different network just not on the one in your office?Who manages the network you're trying to connect to in your office? It may actually be a DHCP server issue rather than an issue with your specific laptop. -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com | http://www.onenote-tips.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook
