I have a user with Win 7 Pro x64 and Office 2010 x32. The user is trying to add Excel to the Open With option. For example he wants to be able to right click on a txt file, select open with and select Excel. The excel option is missing currently, and is not showing in Other Programs using (Chose Default Programs and expand Other Programs). We tried to click on Browse button and mapped to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14 and selected Excel.exe, but still the Excel option is not getting listed in Recommended Programs or Other Programs. Is this a problem with office installation, registry issue or something else? Thanks...B

Hi, Did this issue occur with other office program like word, powerpoint? I suggest to perform these tests to troubleshoot the issue: 1 Login with Clean Boot 2 Reinstall Office 2010 32bit If the issue occurs, I suggest to install Office 2010 64bit for test.
