File sharing with Windows Vista to Windows 7
We have a PC running Vista and recently bought another PC running Windows 7. We want to be able to share the files on Vista with 7 and visa versa. I have carried out all of the instructions for doing this, i.e. same workgroup name, shared the relevant files, enabled all settings in Network Sharing Centre, etc. Both computers can now see the others shared folders, changed Firewall settings, but when you click on them we keep getting messages that Windows cannot access/access denied, etc. I am so close, but really can't think of a way to solve this problem? I would appreciate any advise. Thank you

Probably you did not enable file sharing correctly, check out this simple file sharing or password protected file sharing article, see whether could help you. Hope this helps.
