Filmstrip view missing from burned DVDs of photos
I'm trying this on my XP computer right now, not by my Windows 7 computer to see if its the same, but when I open a DVD that has folders of jpg's burned to it, in my view menu there is no option for filmstrip view. but when i look at folders of jpg's on servers, i have filmstrip view. Does anyone know why?

Never heard of a "Filmstrip" view option in XP and I don't have it in Windows 7. However, in Windows 7 you go into the folder, right click on the first picture, select Preview, and once that is open you have arrows to go forward and backwards to view the pictures in that folder. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. As far as I know, in Windows 7, the filmstrip feature is removed. If you feel like this feature being returned, please post your feedback to the following link: Windows 7 Feedback Alex Zhao TechNet Subscriber Support in forum. Yes, that was a common complaint when tesing started with Windows 7 Beta. The XP users missed that feature. If you click Start=>Pictures you will the slide show choice in the information bar. When you right-click the firat picture of the slide show, you get the options menu. No rotation, but similar. Media Player will provide the playback. Microsoft Office has a picture Manager that works like the XP tool. The answer is that tool and feature are gone.
