How do I find the TCP/IP properties on my computer. I need to check my PC's TCP/IP properties (usually in Network or Internet settings) and write down the DNS settings, but I can't find any of this information.

there are many ways to do this, but d easiest is this: click start button, go to control panel, to the left in the control panel window, click classic view, look for and doubleclick "NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER", to the left in the network and sharing center window, click manage network connections, the usual network connections window is displayed showing local area connection,dial-up ,.... right-click the connection whose settings you want to check, click properties,and you're home!!!

i gave Mandy24 that because more often than not, when we check TCP/IP settings, we usually tweak the settings at the end of the day. ur solution will only allow mandy24 VIEW the settings,tweaking from command line would involve oda command s he/she is not sued to.
