Firewall stopping and starting on it's own
When I first start my computr from the sleep mode, my windows firewall is off, then starts on it's own and I have noticed that sometimes while searching the web, it starts and stops on it's own. Is this a virus issue? I had a virus a while back that shut off my fire wall completely and was able to remove it with malware bites, did it mis part of the virus?1 person needs an answerI do too

What antivirus/security program do you have installed? Many of them have their own firewall component which will correctly turn off the Windows Firewall. Of course you do need to make sure your computer is virus/malware-free.http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_MalwareDo not skip the preparatory work.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
