Focus lost for several applicationscreens in Windows 7
Hello all, Thanks in advance for thinking with my problem and trying to help to solve this mystery! We are getting several pc's that are running applications like Office 2007/2010, AutoCAD, PTC Creo. They all work as they should except for the fact that after a while for example MS Excel has lost it focus and when you click on the screen to get the focus back again it will not respond. When you minimize the screen and maximize it again it becomes responsive again. Same thing happens with AutoCAD LT 2012. Therefor it looks like a Windows problem. However I dont want to jump to conclusions therefor we first installed SP2 for AutoCAD. We are testing it as we speak to see if that provides any help. But I want to spread my chances :D. Microsoft Updates wise it is up-to-date. Do you might have any suggestions to solve this? Specs: Dell Precision Workstation T3500 - Xeon W3530 2.8 GHz Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Office 2007 32 bit or Office 64 bit (multiple workstations, doesn't seem to be version or bit specific problem)

Hi, I would suggest you to follow the methods below. Method 1: Test the issue in Safe mode http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode Method 2: Perform a clean boot If the error doesnt appear in Safe mode, then a non-Microsoft program might be the cause of the issue. A clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts. Visit the link below to know how to perform a clean boot to get rid of the conflicting program.
