Folder Redirection policies don't work on Windows 8.1

Hi,

I have been reading (almost) all related posts and I tried really many hints from that tips.

I refer to following, which refers to Windows7. And that's my reason to make this post, because Windows7 Clients work in my Environment, (new) Windows 8.1 Clients NOT.:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/a0052ce8-e588-4cce-afec-a08de8a1143b/microsoftwindowsfolder-redirection-error-502-csc-database-locked-by-another-user?forum=winserverGP

Folder redirection policy doesn't work with (new) Windows 8.1 Clients. Patchlevel is actual. Users are old ones or new ones (for testing).

Environment:

- Windows 2008R2 DC (actual patchlevel), Domain functional level: 2003

- Folder redir policy Setup (very unluckily in Default Domain policy)

- redir Points to share on same DC (also unluckily user have spares in their names, but I tested with user without spares. Same effect.

- "Offline files": off, (tested also with "on", same effect)

- EventLog: "502", path to redirected Folders, "Access denied". Mapping that as share or however, no Problems getting Access, refer also to:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc775853(WS.10).aspx

the Folder redirection (policy) worked and works (since years) fine with Windows 7 Clients and on Terminal Servers (2008R2). Only on Windows 8.1 Clients no f**** way to get it running.

Any moreg clues except the ones, I refer to?

Thanks!

Cheers, Jrg
