Folder View Settings
A Google search of remember folder view settings gets about 2.5 million hits. Gee, do you think Microsoft believes we care about that or not? I count 8 ways to show the contents:Extra Large Icons, Large Icons, Medium Icons, Small Icons, List, Details, Tiles, and Content. Andlet's see, I can choose: Menu Bar, Preview Pane, Details Pane, NavigationPane, Library Pane!! It doesn't matter how may different ways I can make a folder look if it doesn't look that way when I go back to it!!! Please tell me that this will be a NON-ISSUE when this OS is final.

Here is one of the Vista solutions which does use the same registry keys as Win7 http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html Create a system restore point first, just in case something goes wrong.
