Formatting Hard Drive
Hello! I'm attempting to format my hard drive but am having an issue in the Computer Management screen. When I 'right-click' on the drive that I want to format the 'Format' icon is greyed out. I obviously need this to continue on in the process. Any idea on how to get it activated? Thanks! JPS 2 people need an answerI do too

Are you trying to format the system drive while still in Windows? This will never work - it would be tantamount to trying to saw off a tree limb whilst sitting on it. If this is a non-system hard drive that you've just installed for extra storage, etc., you need to create a partition before you can format it. Please clarify your hardware and what you are trying to do; i.e., your end goal.
