Generic Host Process for Win 32 Services error
I continue to get this error on my older Win XP machine. I have installed all available updates but the error continues. How can I get rid of the problem and the rrror?1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Larry Stroup, ·When do you receive this error message?·Is it when working with any particular application or program?·Or is it at the startup of the computer?·What is the service pack installed on your computer? Follow the below methods:Method 1:Check the status in safe mode, to boot the computer in safe mode:a. Restart the computer and press and hold F8 key (Press and hold f8 key before the windows logo).b. From the advanced boot option select ‘Safe mode’. Method 2:You may boot the computer in boot the computer in clean boot state and check the results. You may refer the below link for the steps to boot the computer in clean boot state. Link: How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" state:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353 If the issue does not persist you may continue with step 2 from the above link. Note: Make sure you reset the computer to normal mode.
