Getting blue screen (0x00000024) and cannot access BIOS
I have been getting the blue screen on windows startup with the error: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x82F3E718, 0xC0000102, 0x00000000). I read a couple forums telling me to restart with the install CD. I've done this, but the proper prompts do not come up. So, I was told to access the BIOS to set it up to run the CD before harddrive. I read the instructions on how to acces the BIOS that were linked in a different thread, but it is not allowing to access the BIOS. How do I get to the BIOS to allow it to run the install CD?1 person needs an answerI do too

What is the laptop make and model? Stop 0x00000024 or NTFS_FILE_SYSTEMhttp://www.updatexp.com/stop-messages.htmlYou may have a bad RAM try to test your RAM by running Memtest bydownloading this tool and unzip it and make a floppy or CD/DVD and run it onReboot.http://www.memtest86.com/You may need to reposition/reset the RAM sticks in their slots. After that you could do a repair install, and then test.http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm Try to check the health of the Hard Drive by downloading the diagnostic tool from the HDD manufacturer website! nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk
