Getting error code 1601 when trying to install antivirus software. I am not running in safemode.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello, thhigpen. what else does the error say? why would you think this has to do with safe mode ? without knowing more than that, have you tried right clicking on the setup.exe for your antivirus, and choosing the advanced tab, where you can elect to run the program as an administrator. And, if that won't do the trick, then right click it again, and choose properties from the bottom of the menu. click on the compatibility tab, and opt to run the program with an emulation of another operating system from the pull down menu...If none of this will work, then your bios may have some sort of bootsector protection enabled, it's usually under "security" in there."THE EASIEST THING TO GET IN THIS WORLD IS A WRONG ANSWER!"
