Getting only half of the Internet speed by default after reboot
I connect to the internet using 24 MB/s ADSL connection. Problem is that I only get about half of the speed by default while in Vista. To get full speed I need to go to the connection properties and change "QoS Packet Scheduler" setting. It doesn't matter that if I check or uncheck it as long as I change the setting. After the change speed doubles and everything works like it should. My question is that is there any explanation why this is happening and is there a fix to this issue? My NIC has Realtek RTL8169/8110 chipset and latest drivers. If I use my Marvel NIC it has exactly same problem. Best regards, TK
