Group Policy Preferences - LDAP Targetting
Hi,I am using Windows 7 RTM and am finding that Group Policy Preferences - LDAP targetting is not working as expected. We have a Item Targeting rule that is working find on Windows XP and Windows Vista. Howver it seems that LDAP itm targeting on Windows 7 just does not work at all no matter what I try.For anyone's interests sake teh targeting ldap filter is (&(objectCategory=computer)(objectClass=computer)(cn=%ComputerName%)(location=*Library.*)).Is there any known issues with LDAP targeting in Windows 7? Is there a way to see what LDAP query is being made to help debug this?ThanksDarryn Capes-DavisChildren's Medical Research Institute, Sydney, Australia

Hi Darryn Capes-Davis, I have found the following articles for the LDAP configuration issues: How to view and set LDAP policy in Active Directory by using Ntdsutil.exe Using ldapsearch to debug LDAP configuration problems Configuring LDAP debug log I hope they will be helpful. To address your concerns more efficiently, I suggest you can also access the following Microsoft's official Enterprise Platform Support DS blog, you can raise your post there by choosing the EMAIL option. Good luck!
