HELP!
A demo for a PC scan with a green shield and a check mark attached itself to my bottom toolbar and I can't do anything to remove it and I already have virus protection and do not want to buy this product! It keeps telling me that everything is infected.1 person needs an answerI do too

Your system is infected with a rogue security program. It is called "rogue" because it pretends to be A Good Guy but is really Evil. Do not pay them! Look for removal steps for multiple variants of rogues here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-vista-2010 These may work for you and all may be well. However, in many cases the computer will also be infected with other trojans and protected by a rootkit. These machines are extremely difficult to clean. If your machine is one of these cases, either get guided help at one of the specialty forums listed at the link below OR take your machine to a local computer professional OR back up your data and do a clean install of Windows. It is fake Anti-Virus, log on to safemode and run full system scan: safemode: 1)restart PC 2)press F8 key continusly before windows logo come up 3)chose safemode with networking 4)log on to following website for windows xp and run full scan using Internet Explorer : http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm It should remove threat, but if not , contact support: https://consumersecuritysupport.microsoft.com/default.aspx?productkey=pcsafetymalware&faq=1&mytask=diagnostics
