HP solution center comes up that the printer HP8500 is not connected.
Printer is set up on home network hardwired through router. I have used a switch between the printer and computer without change, so I believe something is blocking it. You can print to it, scan from it but in HP solution center is says that the printer is disconnected, so I cannot see ink levels, scan utilizing my computer as a set up, fax from my computer etec. This has happened before, Dell personnel came onto my computer and got into some rather complex areas to open it up. Unfornunately is has since stopped, Dell support is no longer available as I am out of warranty even though this has been a systemic problem.1 person needs an answerI do too
