I had downloaded and installed TuneUP Utilities 2012 and it scheduled a chkdsk on startup. I let it do it but in the middle of it , it was taking a hell lot of a time so i restarted my computer when it was checking my External Seagate Hard Drive 1GB. Now i my ExHDD has gone corrupt and i can't access it . Please help me.

First of all, that was not a smart thing to do, but you most likely agree with me at this point ;) So when you say you cannot access it, does it still show a drive letter in Windows? If so you could run the following command, from an elevated (administrative credentials) command prompt: chkdsk /f x: And let it run, to see if it can resolve the issue.
