Having trouble with adding Toshiba network printers on Win 7 Clients (Few)
Hello There. There's a domain that we have and printers installed onto the print server. I have come across few desktops which are giving Error ("Unable to add Printer") which i try adding toshiba printers. All other HP printers are getting installed. i Tried below procedures but it didnt help. 1. Click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the Search box and press Enter. 2. Double-click "Printer Spooler" in the Services list. 3. Click Stop and click OK. 4. Click Start, type "%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" in the Start Search box and press Enter, delete all files in this folder. 5. Click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the Start Search box and press Enter. 6. Double-click "Printer Spooler" in the Services list. 7. Click on Start. In the Startup Type list, make sure that "Automatic" is selected and click OK. Also tried with the replacing the Registery of bad PC with a good PC. But i find my self still at the same place. Can anyone find a solution to it??

Hi, We can follow the steps below. 1. Click Start, Devices and Printers. 2. Click Add a printer. 3. Choose Add a local printer and click on Create a new port. 4. Select Local Port and click Next. 5. Type in "[\\computer name\printer name]" (without quotation marks) for the Port Name and click OK. Example: If the computer you wish to connect to is named ComputerA and the printer is called PrinterA then the path would be \\ComputerA\PrinterA 6. Please select a correct driver from the list. If the model is not listed, please click the Windows Update button. Wait for the process finishes and try to find the driver again. In addition, we may test the issue by using IP address of the printer instead of the printer name.Kim Zhou TechNet Community Support

Hi, Which print processor is it using? Printer Properties, Advanced Print processor. See if changing to Winprint will allow the printer connection. Write down the current one so you can change back if the device requires it. Kim Zhou TechNet Community Support
