I allow Windows to check for updates and several came up 6/23/10 anyway it says updates were sucessful but several (8) warning just like this one but different endings like iTV media center and Microsoft Media Center playback in the event viewer. Can I ignore or do I need to rerun updates or is this for other versions of Windows 7 because I want make sure I getting the most out of Windows 7 and Windows Media Player! THANKS for any replies!!

You haven't provided much information on what actually happened. Reboot your PC and run a full update again.If you buy three cars and the same wheel falls off all three, do you contact the person who sold you the cars or the person who made them?

Hi I just installed new updates and after I restarted this warning was in the event viewer and a few more just like it just different apps at the end and I didnt noticed any on my laptop both are win 7 64,but Windows reported all updates sucessful no problems there just a couple warnings in event viewer,. How can Icheck if installed correctly?THANKS AGAIN!

Hi, To check the updates which have been installed, please perform the following steps 1. Click the Start button, type “Update” without equations in the search box, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update. 2. In the left pane, click View update history. Regarding the issue, I also suspect that there are some conflicts during updating. This will lead to unexpected issues. At this time, please go back to the status which the issue didn’t occur with System Restore and try reinstalling the updates in Clean Boot environment and see how it works.
